In this article you will find out how to manage table view - how to customize display name, visible columns, fields to search and exclude, ordering, read-only permissions and sorting of fields.

Firstly, choose the connection from connection list and click Settings

Now you are able to see the list of all available settings for tables:

Down below we will investigate what does each option.

Table display name: here you can set up the table name display in the interface.

Columns visible by default: set the columns you need to be displayed every time you proceed to the following Table. If you need all columns to be visible by default - check all the columns in drop-out menu.

Autocomplete fields: if this table is related to some other table in this connection, you can add or edit foreign key in more convenient way - you can set up here the columns to search by to choose necessary value of foreign key.

Identity field: (used for the foreign key table view) you can choose which columns will be displayed instead of foreign key in the other table.

Fields to search: choose the fields which will be included in search results.

Fields to exclude: choose the columns which will be hidden in the table.

Ordering by field: here you can choose which column will be set as default for table ordering. Choose also descending or ascending view.

Read-only fields: choose which fields will not be permitted to edit.

Sort fields by: choose which columns will be used for sorting of table view.

After all the needed adjustments were applied, click Save button.

If you want to reset all custom settings to default values, click Reset button
